Siva SR is a documentary photographer based in Kerala, working between Trivandrum and the many landscapes that shape contemporary India. With over eight years of experience, his practice is rooted in observing the human condition.
Siva works in both digital and film formats, believing that process shapes perception. His long-term projects focus on individuals and communities often seen but rarely understood, aiming to create images that feel intimate without intrusion.
His work moves between streets, villages, and cultural gatherings, guided by patience rather than spectacle. Whether photographing ritual, labour, or everyday life, Siva approaches each story with emotional honesty and visual restraint. He is less interested in events and more interested in people.
